Bill Karam has been a painter and his training in college was painting and drawing, with a degree in Fine Arts. Photography came by accident, as he was not trained as a photographer. Karam moved to New Orleans after graduation, and became a street photographer, having acquired several professional quality cameras and lenses.

The rest is history.

Even during confinement, Karam am still working every day!

In addition to my painting and printmaking, Bill is now making short movies. This all came about in 2009 when I began experimenting with using still photographs for making short movies out of analog stills.

Bill is partial to black and white when it comes to printing photographs.

Karam has been blessed by the best! Excuse him for being trite.

There are too many people to thank for their wonderful compliments of Bill's works. Of course the best complements are those that purchased my works, which have been many. There is not enough space to name all of the gracious people that have complimented Bill. Thank you all again!

Bill has photographed for CITYarts and contributed as a volunteer on CITYarts' Past Forward project with JASA Club 76.
