Both pretty and practical – a 14" x 4" oven-, microwave- and dishwasher-safe bowl with an ocean-inspired glaze by Brewster ceramics artist Diane Heart.

Diane’s pieces bring together technical and aesthetic elements to invoke a sense of warmth and comfort in her pieces. She says porcelain lends itself to the kind of carving and reshaping she likes to do once she’s thrown a piece on the wheel, and when it comes to glazes, the nearby Cape Cod Bay inspires her to create a watercolor effect.
