Carrot and Potato came to MRFRS as sickly and underweight 5-week-old kittens. Their three sisters were sick too, but they were stronger and seemed okay despite their rough start. Carrot and Potato were a different story. They were so small and weak; they were struggling to survive. Because we weren't sure they would make it, an experienced foster mom was entrusted with their little lives and provided them with supportive care and many vet visits. During a harrowing trip to the emergency vet, Carrot was diagnosed with a congenital heart issue and we were able to give him the care he needed. Thanks to the efforts of MRFRS staff, their amazing foster mom and the many veterinarians and vet techs who cared for them, Carrot and Potato are now thriving and have been adopted. Carrot was adopted by his foster mom!
