"As a silk painter, photographer, cross-cultural consultant, and community activist, through my artwork I often explore combining my different worlds. The vibrancy of the dyes, combined with the fluidity and sensuality of the silk, connect me with a deep sense of peace, spirituality, and creativity. My silk work, each piece individually designed and hand-painted, includes wearable art (scarves, jackets, wraps), wall hangings and Judaic ritual items (Challah covers, prayer shawls and wedding canopies). Creating custom designs for special occasions is a great joy. I am honored to have a multi piece 5’ x 7’ wall hanging “Aylee, Aylee”, at the Denver University Hillel Building and the “Tree of Life" in the sanctuary of Congregation B’nai Havurah."
