Hal Aqua, B'nai Havurah's Music Director, is also a visual artist with a long career in graphic design. For many years he has also worked in mixed media, creating assemblages from found objects and ephemera. Artist's statement: I've always been drawn to the aesthetic possibilities of combining religious/spiritual objects -- shrines, mandalas, reliquaries, kabbalistic sefirot, etc -- with various found objects, knicknacks, and old toys.
