This certificate allows admission (for one person) to a literary conference at DU. The half-day virtual conference will explore the Genius of John Williams and his Masterpiece STONER. Former DU English professor, John Williams, and his novel STONER, now have a cult following after the book’s abysmal sales in 1965 when it was first published. Since the 1990s, it has been hailed by critics as “the most perfect novel ever written, “ and a “quiet masterpiece.” Come join the attendees for this half-day conference featuring speakers who worked with or were influenced by Williams and his magnum opus.
