About the Artist:
Emily Barrera's work aspires to a sort of dreamlike quality, illustrating narratives with a quiet mysteriousness to them. She brings fresh linear elements of drawing and painting together, often layering them to make strange and surreal compositions. Emily Barrera is an Alfred University BFA graduate of 2014 and currently works out of the Button Factory in Portsmouth, NH.
