DUVEL Barrel Aged – Batch No. 4

The latest release from the famous Duvel stable, Duvel Barrel Aged Limited Edition 2019 is a remarkably rich Belgian Strong Ale with a big bouquet of plummy fruit and robust tannic oaks.

Deep caramel brown beneath a small tan head, it boasts a palate full of smooth malts and a superbly soft, sweet creaminess, all offset by zingy fruits and a persistent though measured Bourbon character. Woody, with a sweet and dry grape and brown sugar profile, the experience finishes on a lingering spicy, woody note.
