Soon after his retirement, Walt decided that he wanted to pursue his hidden talent - art and watercolor. He took lessons from Marie Natale, and has been painting ever since. He thougroughly enjoys painting and finds it very relaxing. He paints Cape May scenes, Pennsylvania farmhouses, architecture and fish.

Walt has participated in art shows at the Chalfonte Hotel and Mad Batter Restaurant in Cape May, as well as the Brendan Borek show in Avalon. Two of his watercolors hang in Montgomery County Court House in Norristown.

Walt and his wife, Yvonne, spend much of their time in Cape May. They are the parents of three children and seven grandchildren.
