Darius Holbert (a La Ballona parent) is an award-winning composer for film/ TV/ new media with a big list of scoring credits to his name. He has produced records for, toured with, musical directed, and written for some of the biggest names in pop, hiphop, country, classical, and jazz - but more than anything else, he’s a down-to-earth guy from Texas who loves to mentor up-and-coming talent. Come set a spell for 1 hour with Darius in his airy home studio in west Culver (masks must be worn and as distanced as possible of course!) and learn about anything musical: write an original score to a film scene, produce some fire beats, pen a country love song, cut some heavy swamp rock, or just play some pinball and jam out on all the gear.
