Beach Week in South Carolina!
Located a few miles south of the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet & a few miles north of the Hammock Shops in Pawleys Island, Litchfield By The Sea is an oceanfront golf & tennis resort with amenities including a huge pool and lazy river at the Summerhouse complex.
Nearby attractions include Huntington State Beach Park with alligator walks & Atalaya Castle tours, and Brookgreen Gardens renowned for their sculpture collection. A short drive south is Hobcaw Barony, Georgetown & Hopseewee Plantation. A short drive north is Myrtle Beach. Please pack your beach chair + sheets & towels.*
- (5) Night Stay at a beach condo (full kitchen) surrounded by palm trees overlooking the adjacent lake from your private balcony. (M-F)
- (2) Queen size beds and a full-size sleeper sofa
- Full use of oceanfront boardwalk facilities w/ restrooms, rockers & lounge chairs + plenty of shade. *This is the spot to bring a bottle of wine & a picnic basket.
- Restaurants, Live Music, an Ice Cream Shop, and a Starbucks are steps from your door.
Special Instructions
100% of the funds received from the winning auction item will go to the rescue and rehoming of homeless dogs and cats.
The Condo is weekends (Monday to Friday please; arrive as early on as 6 p.m. on Sunday as you like and leave by 5 pm Friday). We typically ask LDAR event winners to provide 3 arrival dates & we try to honor their first date.
Travel completed within a year is nice for my calendar.
Need to reschedule? We’ve done that lots! A 2019 LDAR winner canceled because of covid & is coming March 2021! We’re pretty flexible & will work hard to accommodate changing situations.
Fyi the 2 weeks before & after Easter are already reserved.
Taxes & fees? None other than whatever their winning bid owes to LDAR. There are no additional resort fees on our end.
