Each stamp has been cancelled by the US Postal Service Philatelic Fulfillment Center before issuance. The cover is a photo of the D-Day invasion of France in 1944. The map in the inside is of the world that was at war with the USA in the center and invasion efforts in both Europe and Asia at the same time. The photos on the stamps are men and or equipment in the effort to protect our homeland and defeat the enemy.
