Description
In the land of the Scots, there is no more revered figure in all of history that the poet Robert Burns (1759-1796). Oft lauded as Rabbie Burns, the National Bard, Bard of Ayrshire and the Ploughman Poet, this 18th century poet was a pioneer of the Romantic Movement. His most famous poems include "To a Mouse," "A Red, Red Rose," as well as the lyrics to "Auld Lang Syne."'
