Here we have a beautiful 60" ash beaver tail style canoe paddle with inlaid meandering river on one face and t-grip attached to the shaft with a double-wedged tenon joint.

Jeff Meyers, parent of Dinara NBS '21 and Sasha '19, has crafted by hand this amazing piece of work.  

Jeff is a former sea kayak guide and naturalist for Paddleways, former Staff Scientist for the Lake Champlain Committee, and former Associate Director of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.

Jeff now teaches biology at Otter Valley Union High School.
