Winterberry Farm is a horse and oxen powered farm. In the winter months, when snow has fallen and left a packed gliding surface, we hitch up our pair of Haflinger horses, Nestor and Ginger and offer sleigh rides to the public in authentic old fashioned sleighs built in the 1870’s Our sleigh rides take you on an adventure into our lower fields, following a perimeter around the farm.

Please call ahead as we do book up fast once it starts snowing, 207-649-3331. Our season starts right around Christmas and goes through until the last pile of snow melts.

We are located on route 27 in Belgrade, Maine; a fifteen minute drive from Augusta and Waterville or a 30 minute drive from Farmington, and about an hour from Camden.
