The New City Microcreamery in the center of Hudson is an innovative ice cream/coffee shop that creates uniquely flavored ice cream, beautifully baked confections, and seasonal combination beverages.

All of the ice cream is made with farm-fresh dairy from Mapleline Farm in Hadley, MA, that is infused with fresh ingredients, and then flash-frozen with liquid nitrogen. In addition to some typical flavors (Cookie Dough, Cookies and Cream, Mint Chip and Coffee), there are New City originals like Vanilla Bourbon, Carrot Cake, Apple Crisp, Baklava, and Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough. There is dairy-free ice cream, too, made with coconut milk, including Vegan Chocolate Avocado and Vegan Coffee Oreo.

The Microcreamery also offers ice cream cakes with two layers of cake, two layers of ice cream, and an extra layer of sprinkles in the middle. The cakes are custom made in three different sizes with the cake and ice cream flavors you choose.

This restaurant offers a casual setting with a nice rustic interior and lighting, just the perfect spot to spend some leisure time in downtown Hudson.
