Homemade Soap made with Bickford's Bacon Fat

Item Number: 162
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Soap is made with three ingredients: water, oil/fat, and lye (sodium hydroxide). Lye is added to the water, and the mixture is then combined with some type of oil or fat, which triggers the chemical process of saponification, converting the oil and lye into a third material -- soap! The scent of this soap is derived from the oil/fat component.
If you love the smell of bacon cooking, you'll love this package of two bars of homemade soap scented with Bickford's bacon fat. In one bar, the oil/fat component is 80% Bickford's bacon fat and 20% coconut oil, while the second bar has 100% Bickford's bacon fat.
No cholesterol here -- just the delicious smell of bacon sizzling on the stove! Who wouldn't want to start the day bathed in this aroma!
