Betty Wentworth's "Still Standing" features quaint outbuildings that are captured in this beautifully framed 11"x14" oil painting.

Betty received her B.A. degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and her Masters from Emory in Atlanta.  Since college, she has studied watercolor painting with the late John Gaddes of Jackson, MS at the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly. In the 80s and 90s, she studied at Cheekwood Fine Arts Center.  And in 2000, she began painting in oil under the tutelage of Russian artist Paul Zeppelin at the Centennial Club in Nashville.  Her passion for creating is expressed both in her vividly colored still life paintings and her more subdued impressionistic landscapes. Her current work takes inspiration from places visited around the world.
