AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Course; The AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Course provides a complete introduction to the avalanche phenomenon, avalanche terrain, decision making, and rescue. For the 2020/2021 season, courses will be run over 3 days of instruction; 2 full days will be spent out in the field, with a mix of self-directed and distance-led instruction for the 1 day classroom-based portion of the course. Winner can pay the difference in price ($100) and upgrade to a Level 2 course if desired. Expires 5/01/2021.
