2018 Chamboulé Pinot Noir (1.5L)
A wine of molten energy, breezy elegance and dappled light. The bouquet streams out of the glass, enveloping and delicate with notes of roses, summer cherries and rose geraniums. The palate is nuanced, dancing in between the darkness of spice and ripe fruit and the light of sour cherries and hay fields. Fine-grained tannins are wrapped in velvet fruit and the wine glides and tiptoes and taps with the precision and airiness of Fred Astairs.
