Emily Beeny is a curator and art historian. She has worked at museums in Boston, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and currently looks after pastels and French drawings at the J. Paul Getty Museum. In addition to publishing and lecturing on French art from the seventeenth to the twentieth century, she is the author of a children's book about collecting and museums: Hector the Collector.
