Description

Red Leaves (diptych) is a painting from the series, The Memory of Leaves. The thin washes of red and maroon paint are evocative of the remnants of colorful, autumnal leaves that are left behind as they fall from the trees. The artist uses the leaf form as a metaphor for the experience of recalling memory, blurry yet vivid at the same time.
