"The Koa Bug" - the biggest of the endemic bugs and known for their incredible, wild, iridescent colors.  They belong to a group called "jewel bugs", and are a much-desired treat of the 'elepaio bird.  Look for them on native plants like koa, 'a'ali'i and koai'a!
