This is a Nantucket basket, italian bread mold style. It is woven with weaver of bleached and regular cane in the traditional style with a single lash weaver on the rim. The base and rim are of solid maple, and the staves are walnut. The custom corian disc is hand scrimmed with the Maya's Hope logo in East Freetown, MA, and the basket was woven and varnished in Little Compton, RI.
