This was one of the first women's history music videos--setting a high standard for those that followed.  When Mary Ruthsdotter was viewing this video, she called everyone in the office to see such an uplifting music video of women's history.  We were all in awe. Since that time Martha Wheelock has become essential as an NWHA Board Member/

The lyrics pay tribute to Emily Dickinson, Willa Cather, and Emma Goldman specifically, but the images evoke the panoramic sweep of American history from the 19th century to the present moment. "One Fine Day," a women's history music video/film that combines the work of singer Kay Weaver and scenarist Martha Wheelock, could stand as a rousing finale to any Women's History Month program.
