From The US to Europe to Central America, Lily’s always scoped out the thrift culture. It’s pretty much always been part of who she is — never really being into to social “norms” of fashion, or social “norms” at all for that matter.

Now as a thrift store boutique owner watching the shop evolve, she realizes that Hot Tamale is so much more than just another vintage shop. It’s her life (besides her darling daughter of course), her beliefs, her character, and her expression all wrapped up in one little shop. It is the ability to be a chameleon; to dress as you feel not as you've been told.

Stepping into the shop and connecting with Lily is magic, pure magic. You can feel how much she truly cares about you finding that perfect piece, and leaving happier than when you walked in. And knowing her, you know you’ll never leave with something that was not meant for you – because she’ll be the first one to tell you if it doesn’t look good ;)
