The queen of our boxes! 

Shabbat is so special. The beauty of it is unique and different for everyone. Whether you go to synagogue or go to the beach, if you spend it around the Shabbat table at home with your family or have your friends over for dinner, if you are more religious or less, it does not matter because Shabbat to us here in Israel is a special day of rest and down time we all need every week.

A time for ourselves, a time with our loved ones, a time to go out and have fun, and a time to remember we belong. Belong to this great place and this amazing people and we are all one.

What is IsraeliBox?

IsraeliBox. Israel in a box. IsraeliBox tells the story of Israel in a box filled with the magic and mystery of Israel arriving at your doorstep every month.
Keeping Israel close to your heart and present in your home. That is our dream.
Letting the world enjoy the bounty and beauty of our beloved homeland.
We support a different Israeli nonprofit in each box and you get to partner with us in strengthening Israels weakest links of society and stand together with the Israeli community.

We are celebrating Israel in each box. Telling a different story and sharing with you another side of Israeli life and culture. Sharing the story of our beautiful land with its creative and passionate people. The story of Israel in a box. 

Cause of the Box: Sindyanna of Galilee

Sindyanna of Galilee is a female-led non-profit that actively promotes the concepts of Business for Peace and fair trade in Israel. They aim to bridge cultural divides, encourage sustainable agriculture, and support organic farming. The staff consists of Arab and Jewish women who share a vision of peaceful coexistence, and work towards this goal side by side with skill, care, and a passion for the craft. By igniting economic activity, they enable Jews and Arabs to support each other in the process.

Special Armenian Designed Handmade Shabbat Candle Holders from The Old City Souk in Jerusalem
A pair of hand crafted ceramic Shabbat candlesticks painted in the ancient traditional Armenian design. The Armenian quarter of Jerusalem today is the only remaining place in the whole world where you can still find this unique, almost extinct craftsmanship and art.

Za'atar Spice Mix by Sindyanna of Galilee
Za'atar spice blend of dried Za'atar leaves together with a combination of sesame seeds, sumac, olive oil, and sea salt. The mix is produced in a traditional way from shade dried leaves that are grown in the Galilee by Arab farmers. This is a very popular spice in the local kitchen. It is used as a seasoning for meats and vegetables, and can also be sprinkled on humus or labaneh. You can find a great recipe in our blog.
