Virtual Animal Experience

- Meet the sea otters, penguins, sea lions, or other animals at the Shedd Aquarium - virtually! Join us behind the scenes for a session with the animals and watch them dive, socialize, vocalize, solve puzzels, and fine out how their sustainable, restaurant-quality food prep happens. Whether you call Chicago home or live across the world, we welcome you to join us. This 35-45 minute virtual Animal Experience will take place on Zoom so you can enjoy the experience without leaving home. All questions can be asked live through the chat function and responded to by our program host.

Behind-the-Scenes Experience

- See Sheed from teh perspective of our animal care staff during a 45-minute behind-the-scenes experience guided by a Sheed expert. Your tour may vary but guests visit behind-the-scenes areas of our main galleries and have the change to meet animals. Come witness Sheed Aquarium and its 32,000 animals at work. The behind-the-scenes experience includes admission, so feel free to explore the aquarium afterwards.
