Description
Art Dimensions: 16 inch. x 18 inch.
A little bit of everything, with a slightly positive spin. Inspired by my struggles with mental health, manic episodes in particular. Daydreaming and anxiety rolled into one. Whimsical, yet chaotic.
About the Artist:
My name is Elisyan Rousseau. I am a 28 year-old French Canadian, living and working in Ottawa. I struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder, a mental illness that makes it difficult to regulate emotional swings. This can lead to large bouts of depression, anxiety, and mania. However, I have also used it as the inspiration for my paintings, and it has become the primary driver of my work. My intention is to display a wide array of emotions across all of my work, as well as capture some of the natural beauty of the outside world.
