Description
Takaya is the Coast Salish First Nations people’s word for wolf. Wolf symbolizes intelligence, intuition, trust and freedom. Takaya was a wolf that chose to live alone on a small group of islands in British Columbia's Salish Sea. Takaya was not aggressive to humans or dogs and was internationally known. He was only eight-years old when he was shot and killed by a recreational hunter. I have paired the wolf amulet with Fancy Jasper stone for its ability to bring healing and wholeness to its environment.
Size: Fits 6-8" wrist.
From the Artist: Hi there! My name is Shannon Sullivan and I currently live on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I don't consider myself to be an artist, although I thoroughly enjoy creating! My true passion resides in helping animals of all kinds find peace and respect in this world of sometimes unkind humans. Animals have always been a source of love for me. They are sentient and deserve to be happy and healthy. May all species be free to live their wild and beautiful lives.
Each bracelet is created with loving intent for greater good of this planet and all her inhabitants.
