Almas is an enthusiastic 15 year old who studies at the  New Soldier Public School, Rajasthan. Tech savvy Almas has a passion for gaming. He wants to protect his community when he's older and aspires to be a police officer one day. The pandemic has weakened his spirits as he could not attend school regularly as per the Government advisory to close them but he was always ahead in his lessons. Almas was quick to reach out to his teachers and peers for guidance and doubts.

The COVID19 lockdown has been difficult for his family to fare through. The Kalandar community was once involved in the barbaric practice of dancing bears for sustenance and survival. Wildlife SOS has worked extensively to eradicate the practice of dancing bears from the country. Additionally, these rescued bears have been rehabilitated at our rescue centers spread across the country. We have also provided sustainable alternative livelihoods to the Kalandar community. Your contribution could lead to a bigger role in helping Almas accomplish his goals of becoming a Police Officer.
