Kajal is a sharp-witted 16 year old studying at Banas Public School in Rajasthan. A spirited young girl, she loves studying English at school and her hobbies include bedazzling and embroidery. She loves creating new patterns and intricate designs on cloth. She wants to be a teacher one day to inspire young minds. Since the demise of her father, Kajal and her mother along with her siblings have been working hard to ensure the family sustains. 

The Kalandar community was once involved in the barbaric practice of dancing bears for sustenance and survival. Wildlife SOS has worked extensively to eradicate the practice of dancing bears from the country. Additionally, these rescued bears have been rehabilitated at our rescue centers spread across the country. We have also provided sustainable alternative livelihoods to the Kalandar community. Your contribution could lead to a bigger role in helping Kajal accomplish her goals of becoming a Teacher.
