Bears are omnivores, just like humans, in the wild they have access to a wider variety of foods. The black bears at our Kashmir centre go crazy for apples and peaches. Keeping this in mind, our bear rescue centres in Kashmir provide the bears with a variety of enrichment and treats specific to their nutritional needs. Just like us humans, “An apple a day, keeps the bear doctor away”.
