This platter of polished rock containing several fossilized ammonites. Baculites, members of the Ammonite family, are an extinct genus of Cephalopods with a nearly straight shell, which lived worldwide throughout most of the Late Cretaceous. 

Platter is about 13" round. Does have several surface scratches.
