"Still Connected and Hopeful", Beaded and Painted Ostrich Egg
Item Number: 243
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
This Ostrich egg has been created by RMRP assistant director, Lisa Winta. Combining beads and paint, this egg stitches together a fractured ecosystem of the Western United States. The species depicted have been extirpated, threatened, endangered, or greatly reduced in their native habitat. But it isn't too late. Connecting them back together with the colors of water, we can still help each of these species survive and thrive once again. Humans have the ability to stitch their ecosystem, our ecosystem back together again. Their future is in our hands.
Featured species:
