A beautiful wild horse scene is featured on a painted emu egg. The mare watches closely, but calmly, over her sleeping foal. The herd plays in the valley below. The red-tailed hawk gazes from above, celebrating the freedom and joy of springtime. 

Painted with acrylics and oils, decorated with faux foliage and mounted to base. 

Artist Beatrice Rudolph, studied art locally at Colorado State University, graduating with honors in 2015. A former RMRP Volunteer, her passion for horses and other animals shines in the artwork she produces in paint and charcoal. As part-owner of the Fort Collins Blue Moose Art Gallery, she enjoys showing her work and supporting the local arts community.
