Description

Meriwether Lewis and William Clark first described this large brown bear as grisley, which could be interpreted as either "grizzly" (i.e., "grizzled"—that is, with grey-tipped hair) or "grisly" ("fear-inspiring", now usually "gruesome").  These large and intimidating predaotrs are fearsome to behold in the wild.  Fortunately for you, this one is safe to view up close!  What does that expression say to you?

This Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) photograph is a gallery wrap canvas. Measures 24" x 18".
