Scott is the director of the Colorado Avian Research and Rahbilitation Institute, CARRIE, which works in the Estes Valley to research, monitor, and rehabilitate birds of all shapes and sizes.  A lifelong bird lover, Scott turned his joy into a masterful representation of North America's most common and beloved owl, the Great Horned Owl.

The Great horned owl, also sometimes called the hoot owl, is the largest owl found in Colorado, and often lives in neighborhoods and cities.  They are fierce predators, willing to take down squirrels, rats, rabbits, small dogs, housecats, and are the only known predator of skunks!

Framed size is 25.5" x 28". Leather frame has some flaws where the leather joins.
