Transport yourself to Italy with a case (6 x 750ml bottles) of Amarone della Valpolicella. Made in small batches at a family-owned vineyard outside of Verona, you wont find this at any wine shop in the United States. DOCG grapes are dried for several months on straw mats in lofts before being pressed, fermented, and aged for two years in oak barrels. 2015 was an excellent year for Amarone, so have a bottle (or two) now and save the rest to see how the wine ages.
