Brazilian "capoeira" for kids/families a Brazilian martial art, dance and music activity, over Zoom. African slaves in Brazil developed capoeira as a form of self-defense and as a way to express themselves through dance and music. The class will start with the making of a homemade drum (we will provide the materials needed and deliver within 10 miles from Bing), followed by a easy choreography that's a lot of fun for all ages, and then an introduction to some basic capoeira movements (kicks, escapes, simple acrobatics).
