While the fund-a feed project changes from year to year, the mission of the fund-a-need remains the same: to benefit our children’s personalized learning experiences at CDS, and to support our wonderful faculty in achieving this goal.

This year, we turn our focus to permanent outdoor educational space. The pandemic has been a challenge for our school, our state, our nation, and our world, and it has forced us to find new ways to do what we very recently considered 'standard.' Well-designed outdoor educational space will have its place in schools forever, and is needed now more than ever. Chatham Day Scool has been able to take good advantage of our outdoor space this school year, but it will be important to design the future with an eye towards creating permanent outdoor classrooms and dining areas.
