Published in 1938, this copy is from the first edition, stated eighth printing published in 1943 by The Vanguard Press in cooperation with Institute Publishing Company, Chicago. Hard cover boards covered with tan linen. 323 pages of 125 menus and the recipes and other information necessary for bringing those menus to life. Compiled by a group of Chicago hostesses who don not list their names.

Lots of brunch, dinner and buffet dishes that sound–and should look-very high end. This is your book if you need to impress the boss!
