Enjoy this package of five bottles of some of the best beer breweries in the Midwest have to offer

1) Goose Island "Anniversary' Bourbon County Brand Stout (2020) is aged 2 years in Weller 12 Year barrels and is a special variant this year to celebrate Goose Island’s 10-year tradition of releasing Bourbon County Stout on Black Friday. The Weller brand is one of the most universally loved collections in all of bourbon, with Weller 12 Year being one of the hardest to get and most sought after. The Original Bourbon County Stout is aged in 4-5 year old barrels for one year, so the added age of these Weller barrels, paired with an extra year of the beer in the barrel, adds stronger barrel flavors and notes of dried dark fruit. This bottle was difficult to find in 2020 but is worth the pursuit!

2) Goose Island "Original" Bourbon County Brand Stout (2020) - The original and still a standard bearer. Every year the goal is to make this beer the best that it’s ever been, with the best ingredients, which includes the finest of bourbon whiskey barrels. This year’s Bourbon County Stout is aged in a mix of bourbon barrels from a variety of whiskey distilleries. Barrel-aged for a year to develop the complexity that only time can provide, Bourbon County Stout boasts a unique blend of flavors such as fudge, vanilla and caramel — topped off with a rich, complex mouthfeel.

3) Three Floyds' Dark Lord (2016) is a demonic Russian-Style Imperial Stout brewed with coffee, Mexican vanilla and Indian sugar. This beer defies description and is hard to come by as bottles are only available one day a year — Dark Lord Day — at the brewery in Munster, Indiana.

4) Half Acre's BENTHIC (2020) is a fortress of flavor. This can is aged in decadent bourbon barrels and conditioned on a ridiculous amount of house-toasted coconut and whole coffee beans. This is an annual release by Half Acre and is always a fan favorite!

5) New Glarus 25th Anniversary Ale (2020)- For years Chicagoans have been trekking up north for a taste of New Glarus brews like Spotted Cow and Moon Man which are only distributed in Wisconsin. This is a very special release from New Glarus made on their 25th anniversary in 2020. This Belgian Quad is a bold combination of German and English malted barley with notes of raisins, caramel, cinnamon and cloves, not to mention an infusion of Wisconsin maple syrup! This is a brew to be savored!
