1) She Loved Baseball: The Effa Manley Story: Effa always loved baseball and grew up to own a baseball team and was the first and only woman to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame!


2) We Are the Water Protectors:  When a black snake threatens to destroy the Earth and poison her people's water, one young water protector takes a stand to defend Earth's most sacred resource.  This was the first book to win the Caldecott award for an Indigenous illustrator.


3) When Aidan Became a Brother: A groundbreaking picture book celebrates the changes in a transgender boy's life, from his initial coming out to becoming a big brother.

Pick up/shipping information: 


At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA onthe designated pick-up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense.


Items are shipped via Priority Mail Flat Rate Shipping with the United States Postal Service. This item will ship in a flat envelope. The shipping cost will be $7.95 plus the cost of insurance. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees. ($8.55 for padded flat rate envelope) If more than one item is won, we will combine shipping and make the necessary shipping cost adjustment. If the items do not fit into a Flat Rate box, the best shipping option will be chosen by the auction shipping team.


For planning, note that the pick-up days are Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12:00-2:00pm and Friday, May 14, 2021 from 12:00-4:00pm at SunRidge School in Sebastopol, California.  All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
