Item Number: 217
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
You and five of your friends can enjoy a down-to-earth and fun tasting of five wines from Spain, accompanied by tapas, at a private residence in the South Bay. Spain is the world's second largest wine producing region and has some of the most varied, spectacular and under-appreciated wines. Tasting tour features five wines:
(1) CAVA - Spain's Champagne-method sparkler
(2) A white wine made from the superstar Albarino grape of the Galicia region
(3) A rare rose from the volcanic Canary Islands
(4) A red wine from Ribera Del Duero, the region fast becoming the star of this red-wine dominant country
(5) A red blend from the renowned Catalonia region of Priorat.
WNS parents David and Ivy Charlton will host the tasting at their home; David recently gained the Wine Scholar Guild's "Spanish Wine Scholar" qualification and will do the pouring!
