"Audubon Birds"--Printed images on canvas (24"x24")
Fourth-grade students learned about the artist and naturalist John James Audubon and his realistic, detailed drawings of different bird species. Students chose a reference photo of a bird species found in North Carolina, and they drew their bird as accurately as possible, coloring with colored pencil. Their drawings were then scanned, printed in a smaller size, and combined on a canvas to make a beautiful work of art!
