Looking for more fun in your life? Need an excuse to see your friends without eating? Worried about dementia? Learn how to play the ancient Chinese game of Mah Jongg! This game is not hard to play but complex to learn. This 5-week class is guaranteed to have you & 3 of your friends playing with strategy by the end of the session. This class will prepare you for both online and in-person games.

Elisa J. Hirsch, your FairyMahjMother, began teaching Mah Jongg in 2013 as a way to connect with her friends without eating! As a community outreach professional, she quickly realized that meeting on a weekly basis is a great way to form friendships and build community while having fun. Now she is on a quest to help introduce a little more fun into everyone's lives. She lives in Fair Lawn and is the mother of 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law and a Covid puppy!
