This intimate tasting event, away from the hustle and bustle of the tasting room, has been designed with you and your small group in mind. Century Farms Winery invites you to partake in a private tasting in our production room, (if the weather permits) our side yard, or vine yard. 

This tasting will begin with a brief history of the farm, how the winery came to be, and a little about the production process. Next your Host or Hostess will guide you through 8 different wine tastings and will suggest savory foods to pair with your favorite selctions. A tray of palate cleansing foods will also be provided to aid in the enhancement of each sample.

Century Farm Winery, located in Jackson, Tennessee, is family owned and operated by Jo and Carl O’Cain. This fully functioning farm has been growing a full gamete of horticultural crops since Jo’s family started farming the land over 150 years ago.

Originally the Spivey Farm, it now gets its name because of its designation as a “Tennessee Century Farm” by the Center for Historic Preservation. Farms receiving the designation are required to belong to the same family who has been farming the original acreage for at least 100 years.
