Children’s Author Alissa Nelson will come to your classroom/ church/ or family gathering with the children and read her children’s book “Grow a Dream Garden”. Alissa lives in the Des Moines area and would need a little notice.

 Alissa Nelson is a Fort Dodge native that graduated from Fort Dodge senior high in 2001. She married Tony Nelson who is a Saint Edmond alumni and they have 2 beautiful daughters that have inspired Alissa to write and illustrate children’s books. 

This may be a great gift to buy and donate back to the teachers so they could schedule a time to have Alissa come to the classroom and read!
