MRFRS’s monthly spay/neuter clinics for feral cats, held in partnership with MSPCA Nevins Farm, are free to trappers and are run entirely by volunteers. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, no clinics were held in the first half of 2020, but we were able to hold 3 clinics in the second half of 2020 before we paused for the winter. Our next feral spay/neuter clinic is coming up in May. Since 2000, these clinics have sterilized over 14,000 cats! 

MRFRS also rents out humane traps for the purpose of TNR (trap-neuter-return), and will gladly provide instruction and advice on trapping, referral to low-cost or free spay/neuter services, and colony management tips. MRFRS volunteers also feed several managed feral cat colonies in the greater Salisbury area.
